On Sunday 4th October and Monday 5th October, over 80 representatives from practices across the UK descended on the beautiful Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club for the 5th annual ExpoCECOP.

The weekend began with our extensive exhibition held in the Marquee in the scenic grounds of the hotel, attended by many of our partner suppliers. Exhibitors included Altacor, BiB, Bondeye, Clearlab, De Rigo, Eyespace, Marchon, mark’ennovy, Maui Jim, Miab, Minima, Mondottica, Ocuco, Snowbird Finance, Yogurt Top Marketing, Zeiss and debuted our latest suppliers, The Outside Clinic and Optos. The schedule was reworked from previous years and now featured a solid four hours of exhibition time allowing for many conversations and presentations to take place. As with every CECOP event, the day ended with a gala dinner and entertainment; with this year’s theme being the island paradise of Cuba, the destination for our loyalty programme, ViveCECOP in 2016.

Monday featured a packed schedule of CET lectures and presentations on a varied range of topics from Retinal Imaging to Social Media Marketing. “It’s always a pleasure to meet with both new and old members at the Expo and speak with them alongside our partner suppliers”, says Lee Woodward, CECOP UK Sales Director, “the aim of our ExpoCECOP is to unite all aspects of CECOP under one roof to develop and build new relationships in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The feedback has been fantastic and it is safe to say that we achieved our objectives.” The entire CECOP team is delighted with the results and looking forward to further developing the show for 2016.
